Dr. Varun Jain is the Past President of ASHRAE India Chapter (Society year 2019 – 20). He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical& Electronics, Engineering. He attended one-year Professional Design Engineering Training, in Air-conditioning at WISCONSIN (USA), in 1997. He obtained his M. Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2000. After his M. Tech, he involved himself in research as a Ph.D student in “Centre for Energy Studies Department” at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. In 2013, he was awarded the Ph.D. degree. He worked for 2 years, in California, USA (SKM Consulting Engineers) and returned to India in 2001. He is working as Director Technical in one of the leading Building Services Consultancy firm “M/s Sanelac Consultants Pvt. Ltd”. He is also the Founder of NaukriA2Z. He is a Certified Energy Manager cum Auditor by BEE, Ministry of Power (Govt. of India). He has been associated with HVAC industry since 1996.
